How can water become a non-renewable resource?

Potable, fresh water can become a non renewable resource if we contaminate all our water tables and rivers, which we are working on. We have drilled a million wells in the USA and they will all leak eventually, 60% within 30 years. Yet the gov has approved pumped nuclear waste and other toxic waste down into those wells as if they were stable. In situ heavy metal mining destroys entire water systems by making the rocks permanently porous and thus able to leach large concentrations of heavy metals into the water. The miners need a waiver from the pollution laws, because it cannot be reclaimed. The fracking chemicals are not removed by existing state of the art water treatment methods.

On the other hand, we could get fresh water from seawater, but it uses a lot of energy. With abundant solar and wind, we could probably get enough that way. But it will cost more.

Answer:

hey hii good afternoon

Explanation:

Water keeps on circulating in nature through various states of matter; in the form of liquid, vapor and ice. Due to this, the water which disappears because of evaporation comes back in the form of rain. Thus, water becomes a renewable resource.
