Explanation:

The water sprinkler used in lawns rotates with the flow of water and sprinkles water in all area around. It is widely used in irrigation to water the plants uniformly and as per requirement.

The water from pipes is supplied to the sprinkler that sprays water all-around similar to rainfall drops. There are several sets of perpendicular pipes at regular intervals, each having a rotating nozzle with holes on it.

This is connected to the main pipe through which water is supplied. As the pump is set, it exerts pressure and the water flows into all the pipes and up through the nozzle.

The rotating nozzle sprinkles water all around due to the upthrust created at the tip of nozzle.
