From question we can form three equations

x=y-2

x+z=3y

Watermelon one = 2kg (Given)

Find the weight of Watermelon three:

Watermelon one is 5 times lighter than Watermelon three

⇒ Watermelon three is 5 times heavier

⇒ Watermelon three = 5 x 2 = 10 kg

Find the weight of Watermelon two:

Watermelons one and three together are 3 times heavier than watermelon two

⇒ Watermelon two is 1/3 times as heavy as Watermelon one and two

⇒ Watermelon two = 1/3 (2 + 10) = 1/3 (12) = 4 kg

Answer: Watermelon one = 2kg, Watermelon two = 4 kg, Watermelon three = 10 kg
