Suppose there is a doctor who is working in his clinic by serving the patient ,a grocery shopkeeper selling grocery items ,a shoe maker selling shoes ,a cobbler repair shoes and slippers ,a dentist cure teeth of his patients and a goldsmith is selling golds, jewellery ,necklace.

All above we see that all people are engaged in doing some work so they all are considered as working people.They all are contributing something to the country's economy.
