Way too critical !!
Writers ending a story on a cliffhanger saying that the true ending is ""up to the reader's interpretation and imagination"" is the most slothful, scummíest, lazíest excuse for not finishing a work properly. I hate cliffhangers. Though something is different when the ending is not fully or easily explained and has some openness as with Alan Wake or Silent Hill games. That I like, it makes the story a bit as a dream, more magical. But cliffhangers, no thanks! Cliffhangers are only great for franchises. You know, it's gonna suck when George R.R. Martin kicks the bucket without doing any justice to the Game of Thrones, LMFAO. Honestly where the story ended up is like totally fine, but there was no build to it which is what was shítty.
What y'all think about this? Don't you hate such cliffhangers?

I completely agree with your point. I have seen almost more than 100 shows with the concept of open ending. What irritates me is the fact that when everything shown is fictional then what's the need of giving such cliffhangers!! Viewers spend alot of tym and energy on watching shows not to ruin their mood because of an open ending!! Whether the ending is happy or sad it should always be complete! Giving a cliffhanger is no less than a torcher upon the viewers!!

P.s- I am a very keen viewer of American tv shows, Korean dramas, turkish and asian shows so I have encountered a lot of cases of cliffhangers, now you yourself can imagine how much p i s s e d off I must have felt all this while :) ✌

Answer:

Well do but dont hate cliffhangers

Explanation:

If there wernt cliffhangers you would want to read more about the so called topic or book

but I hate them because for example

"Leo ends up resurrecting himself and reuniting with his love, Calypso. Oh, just one thing: all his friends think he's dead. Pretty much everyone else ends up with his or her significant other—Jason and Piper, Frank and Hazel, Percy and Annabeth, Nico and Will (maybe?)."

THATS HOW MY FRINKIN BOOK ENDS!!!
