the dates and months which we use on daily basis such as January August ...etc... are the months which have been used in our country after the British ruling it's a part of Western culture ....but in ancient India ........we used to have months like shravan bhadrapath and still in today's gen our most of the festivals are dependent on this months .hope it clears ur doubt
