We all have heard of aerated drinks ( drinks containing carbon dioxide)
Now,
When we are setting up an aquarium, we fit a aerator to provide oxygen.

My question is that in the first case ‘aerated’ word is used in context to CO2 whereas in second case it is used in context to oxygen.

So, what does it mean??
Please help♥️♥️
