Answer:
According to hindu panchagam(hindu calender) ugadi is celebrated as new year. Ugadi or Yugadi, also known as Samvatsarādi ( 'Beginning of the Year'), is the New Year's Day for the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka in India. And also we makes ugadi pachadi. Ugadi pachadi is made of neem flowers, raw mango, jaggery, pepper powder, and salt etc . There are slight variations of making this.
