Let's prove if a²+b²=c² then is c²-b²=a² true or not?
So first write the given statement.
a²+b²=c²
Now, interchange the sides of the expression.
c²= a²+b²
now subtracting b² from both sides
c²-b²=a²+b²-b²
c²-b²=a²
