we always said that , the thing which occupies space and have mass are called matter but gas have neither mass or nor occupies any space so y we called gas is a matter? plz answer me fast i will make it brainlist answer

why gas doesn't have mass and don't occupy space
if u take an example of gas cylinders you will find that filled one is heavier than the empty one ... so gas has weight.. if we come across space it occupy space .. better example is cylinders only....

gas has mass and can occupy space
but the gas don't have a fixed shape or volume
if u take the gas in a container it occupies the entire space in the container
it shows gas occupies space
and now take the container and weigh it
u will find the jar with gas weighs more than the empty one so gas has mass
and the complete definition of matter is
anything that has mass occupies space and affects our senses
