Answer:

we are not happy as our forefathers were

Answer

Explanation:

if we ask from our grandparents about their views on the present generation they would probably express contempt for it. On the other hand if we ask kids we would probably find that they are indeed very happy with their smartphones ,soft beds and carefree life.

our forefathers never enjoyed the comfort provided by our vast and developed technology. If they some how come from the past in the present ,they would surely find the world as a magical home full of Comforts.

In their time they were deprived of quick news through television, faster and easier communication through smartphones, well developed transport system and many more services. They were not able to share happiness with their relatives at anytime. With fewer sources of recreation they also were forced to do a lot of manual labour in agricultural fields and in various other occupations.

Very few were educated. They took many decisions without appropriate knowledge. For example women were condemned for not giving birth to a male child. The position of women was worst in the homes of our forefathers.Women were restricted from nearly everything including education ,profession and marriage.

There was also lack of effective measures taken against criminals. Classes on the basis of caste ,Creed and religion divided people.

Today education has become easier, innovative and free for almost every person. Instead of classes ,education determine the position of a person in the society. Women have emerged as a lawyer ,doctor and a President. They have acquired freedom in every step of their life. There have been a marked increase in the development of Medical Science. Science has come up with cure for every disease . has ensured proper care and treatment whereas in the past, people suffered from various diseases that ultimately took their life. They tried to cure it with different practices obtained from their superstitious knowledge.

I believe that we are much happier than our forefathers.Clearly we have better Comforts technology, medical science and education. Although there is marked decrease in the virtues, values and characteristics of human society. In modern world, values like generosity, empathy and particularly humanity are reduced to a minority. A coin always have two sides and therefore the world is a better place for some but not for everyone
