We are the Architect of Our Life

William Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers of all times has rightly said: ‘It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in our selves.’ It is true we are the architects of our life. We either make a grand edifice of it or a decrepit shanty. Naturally making a grand edifice requires more labour and efforts from our side.

We start constructing our life with the thoughts we think and the choices we make. Discipline, hard-work, perseverance, focus, character, faith, trust, politeness, wisdom, etc. are the building material that helps us erect this building tall and strong.

All great personalities and personages, who built humongous edifices of their life, taught us how we too can construct our own lives. Personages such as Albert Einstein, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Socrates, Thomas Edison, Abraham Lincoln, Charlie Chaplin, Henry Ford, Bill Gates, Walt Disney, Helen Keller, Mahatma Gandhi, were great architects of their own lives.

We must try to learn from theses great souls the lessons needed to be accomplished architects of our life and should leave behind us such an imposing and admirable edifice that it be a source of inspiration and comfort for others.
