Yes, we can filter data by sorting it and by arranging it in sequence.

There are some of the steps to sort and filter data. These are;

1. choose one cell in the column you need to sort.

2. Press Ctrl + A, to choose the whole region.

3. Check the designated area, to make certain that all the data is involved.

4. On the Excel Ribbon, click on Home tab.

5. In the Editing set, click on arrow on Sort & Filter.
