Hio.....

We know that Pressure is inversely proportional to the area of contact. So it is possible to increase the pressure by reducing the area of contact.

To explain in a better way. I'd like to give some examples:
• Needles and knife have sharp edges to make cutting and piercing easier. The area of contact is less so the pressure is more.
• School bags have wider straps to make it more easier to carry it. Wider straps increase the area of contact so the pressure is reduced...

I hope this answer is clear enough to understand
Hope it is helpful.... ^_^

How can we increase pressure by exerting the same force?

Pressure can be increased by decreasing the area of a surface so that more force will be applied at a place.
