What is the difference between the education system of india and france?

Professors were friendly, which I've found in college too. But in France they were cool! They understood that it was difficult for to take exams in French so they gave papers in English. At the same time, wasn't treated like some foreign geek who didn't understand anything. I was treated and taught like an intellectual equal. In fact, I'm quite closely in touch with one of my professors there.Students were trusted to the extent that professors didn't mind leaving the exam hall in the middle of an exam.
