Definition of a histogram;

Histogram- indicates the graphical representation by organizing the data in the given groups. These groups defines the data points into the ranges.

Plotting the histogram;

  • The vertical axis called as Y axis, in which the frequencies are placed.
  • The horizontal axis is called the X axis, where the lower value is placed.
  • In the X axis the different types of data are placed.
  • The lower value to the lower value of the next interval are drawn. The height of the each bar should be equal to the frequency.
  • Histogram allows to see the frequency of the data set.
