we can say that a charged object attracts an uncharged object by first charging it through induction?....explain it

Due to induction, charges opposite to that of the charged body accumulates in some parts of the uncharged object( parts nearer to the charged object ).
We know that unlike charges attract each other.
So the objects attract.

So a charged object tries to attract an object by imparting negative charges to one side of the uncharged object and that process of imparting negative change is induction
