We cannot remould melamine because it is a kind of hard thermosetting plastic. The plastic gets stronger on being subjected to heat. As a result, when it is heated, melamine does not melt. Rather, melamine retains its shape till the very end and remains the same until it is charred or burnt.

it has no property of ductility and malleability as they are plastics , that too thermosetting plastics
