We do not clean ponds or lakes but an aquarium needs to be cleaned periodically. Why answer in brainly

this is beacuse there are microorganisms already in the ponds and lakes to decompose the dead and decaying aquatic plants and animal bodies ,  but in the aquariams there are no such microbes present to decompose the leftovers so they have to clean and take out all the dirt from it , so that there is no further rotting of other living beings .
