Question:
We get hurt when we kick a brick, however we can displace it easily when gently pushed, why?
Answer:
Here Newton's third law comes into the frame. It states that,'Every action has equal and opposite reaction'. When one kicks a brick,he displays a lot of force and it is felt in the same manner. But when you push it gently, the friction makes it to move. As a lot of force isn't displayed, the reaction is also less violent.
