GIVEN

  • We have a*b = 3a + 2b

TO DETERMINE

The value of 5p*(4q*3q)

EVALUATION

Here it is given that a*b = 3a + 2b

p = 1 and q = 3

Now

5p*(4q*3q)

= 5*(12*9)

Now

12*9

= ( 3 × 12 ) + (2 × 9 )

= 36 + 18

= 54

Therefore

5p*(4q*3q)

= 5*(12*9)

= 5*54

= ( 3 × 5 ) +( 2 × 54 )

= 15 + 108

= 123
