We have four resistors A ,B ,C and D of resistance 4 ohm,8 ohm ,12 ohm and 24 ohm respectively?

lowest resistance : 0.5 ohm

highest resistance : 48 ohm

Explanation:

we know ,

1/Rp = 1/A + 1 / B + 1/ C + 1 / D

= 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/12 + 1/24

= ( 6 + 3 + 2 + 1 ) / 24. {taking LCM}

= 1/2

= 0.5

lowest resistance = 0.5 ohm

Rs = A + B + C + D

= 4 + 8 + 12 + 24

= 48

Highest resistance = 48 ohm
