We know that cloth has no fixed shape like water and has fixed volume . then how is it called as a solid.............

because cloth can be destroyed and the liquid can't be destroyed ever

Because the threads of which it us made of are very close to each other so saying it as solid is rather preferred as liquid.
Most important cloth is compressable but liquid is incompressable
