we know that for real objects of concave lens performs a virtual image and convicts forms a real as well as virtual image considered a lens and a small object placed at right angles to the principal Axis at a position one such that the image formed is six times magnified the object is now shifted away from the lens to another position to at a distance of 12 cm from position 1 and an image that is magnified two times but of the same nature as in the earlier is is obtained shifting the object from 2 to the third position 3 result in an image there is 4 times reduce in size. ???

(a) distance of position 1 and 2 of the object from the optical centre are respectively:-
•42 cm and 54 cm
•54 cm and 42 cm
•60cm and 48 cm
•72 cm and 60cm

(b) distance of position three from the optical centre is:-
•150 cm
•75 cm
•180 cm
•60cm

(c) focal length of lens is:-
•36cm
•75 cm
•48 cm
•60 cm
