We know that moon is revolving around the earth due to the gravitational force of the Earth and the earth is revolving around the sun due to the gravitational force exerted by the sun. The gravitational force of the sun is much larger than the gravitational force of the Earth so why the moon is not revolving around the sun?
My teachers were not able to answer that...plzz can you explain this

the moon also revolve around sun.
but it largely revolve around the earth because the gravitational force also depends on the distance between the two bodies (earth and moon)
