we know that water is called as a wonder liquid and 71percent of the earth'S surface is covered by water or in other words 3/4 of the earth is covered by water... Thn y is there scarcity of it??

scarcity of water is for drinking water and as we can't use ocean water for daily purpose and of what you said is correct and in that 71% 97% is salt water and remaining 3 is drinking water and and in that 2 is in form of glacier

Ye ! It is right that 70 % of earth is covered by water But in the 70 percent The fresh water is aprox 1 % and the 50 % of fresh water is in glaciers and in the form of ice only 0.3 % of water is available for drinking . and due to man activities . water is degrading day by day by many causes like 

Polution 
Global warming 
increasing pollution 
Over exploitation

So, Water is decreases jiffy by jiffy .. we should save it ^^!
