we knew that we live in a well developed world with a lot of opportunities and services which disable our sufferings. We knew that our fore fathers lived in an under developed world with less services. This had made them suffer a lot. For travelling ,they need to stay in ships for months (for crossing continents), they need to walk , they took days to travel a place which we can now travel within hours. S o this is a great change.
