Hi friend,

As we know that particles of solids are tightly packed and they don't have space to move as we think. But they show movements. They show vibratory motion. They vibrate on the place where they are. And in Gases every particle is free to move and liquids too have some freedom. So it is concluded that solids also show movement(vibratory movements). But we can't see that movement as the particles are so small to see.

Hope it helps........

Hi FriendĀ

As we know there is negligible space between the particles of solid .
they are very tightly packed.
But the particles of solid cant move they can vibrate either which is a periodic motion and if we provide it heat they will vibrate more and more and convert into liquid.
