Answer:
electrolysis is done on a smaller scale. for it to be considered resource it should be done on a large scale and should be economical. there is need for the advent of a technology which can separate the gases in major quantities with least cost.

GOOD AND LOGICAL QUESTION .
OK LET ME TRY
EXPLANATION:
SEE IT'S CORRECT THAT
WE CAN GET HYDROGEN AND OXYGEN FROM WATER THROUGH ELECTROLYSIS
BUT IF YOU HAD READ THE BOOK CLEARLY IT SAYS THAT THE HYDROGEN OBTAINED CAN'T BE USED AS A FUEL OR RESOURCE BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO CONTROL HYDROGEN TO USE IT AS A FUEL.
SO HYDROGEN OBTAINED FROM WATER THROUGH ELECTROLYSIS IS A STOCK.
