We see 4 minutes extra time the sun in sky . Give reason.

thesahilkumar: It's not the sun that we see for extra four minutes.. It's the rays.. The rays take around four minutes to travel across our ozone layer. So we see the rays four minutes after

Due to atmospheric refraction phenomena.

Ipsita156: The sun is visible to us 2min before the sunrise Nd 2 min after the sunset bcz of the bending of the light due to atmospheric refraction. The actual sunrise takes place when the sun is just above the horizon but due to atmospheric refraction, the sun appears to us about 2min before it is actually above the horizon.
Ipsita156: Similarly, when the sun is slightly below the horizon, its light moves from less dense air and gets refracted towards the normal bcz of this atmospheric refraction, the sun appears to be above the horizon.

That's because, during the day, the Earth revolved around the Sun by 1/365 of its orbit. So each day, you look in a slightly different direction in space, and this causes every star to appear to rise 4 minutes earlier each night.
