light is faster than sound as sound need medium to propogate so when sound of thunder generats its molecules pushesh molecule in the air so it takes time to reach us

Hey dear!!

We see the lightning first then it is accompanied by the sound of thundering since the speed of light is more than that of sound.

So light travels faster than sound. Hence, the lightning is seen first, then the sound of thundering is heard.
