we use a microscope to see very small things and a telescope to see distance things. Do you think that the same type of lens is used in both

Yes the same type of lens is used in both i.e the convex lens.Only the object position changes.For the microscope the object position is between Optic center and focus so the image is formed as virtual erect and magnified.In a telescope the  object is at infinity so a smaller image will be formed.
