We used to say that when there is more rain than usual, the crops spoil due to water, so considering this point, When the water is more inside the plant, it is rigid due to turgor pressure and when they are provided with more than enough water than they become loose?? Why​

So if a plant does not get enough water, it will shrink. If it goes long enough without water it will die because the plant uses water for a lot of different jobs needed to keep the plant alive.
