Weight changes from place to place in the universe because there are different gravitational fields at different places.
For example... as we go higher in the atmosphere, our weight reduces. On moon our weight is approx. 1/6th times that on the surface of earth. In space, we experience weightlessness because here is no measurable gravitational force acting on us.
