Ratio :

•A ratio is a number, it has no unit.

•There can be no ratio between quantities of different kinds.

•The quantities that are compared must be expressed in the same unit.

SOLUTION :

GIVEN : Weight of Abraham is 20 kg & Weight of his father is 60kg.

The ratio of Weight of Abraham & Weight of Abraham’s father - 20: 60 = 20/60 = 20÷ 20 / 60 ÷20 = ⅓ = 1:3

[HCF of 20 & 60 is 20]

Hence, the ratio of weight of Abraham and his father is 20:60

The simplest form of 20:60 is ⅓ or 1:3
