Weight of sulphur = 4.8 g

Explanation:

Molar mass of H2S is  34 g/mol

So 5.1 grams of H2S will yeild;

no of moles = weight/molar mass

no of moles = 5.1/34

no of moles = 0.15

Now molar mass of Sulphur is 32.

In one mole of H2S, we have one mole of S

So in 0.15 mole of H2S, we would have 0.15 mole of S.

Weight of sulphur = n x molar mass

Weight of sulphur = 0.15 x 32

Weight of sulphur = 4.8 g
