Weight is the mass of the body acting on the gravitation.

Weight = Mass×gravitation acceleration.

the gravitation acceleration of mars is 1/3rd of earth

earth's is 9.81m/s.

so mars's is 3.27m/s.

If an object has a mass 40kg or on earth .

its weight will be 3924n.

it will have weight on mars is 1308n

and its mass on mars will be 13.33333308kg.
