One of the most vital events of every academic year is the I PUC orientation program. The cultural forum “Aykya” was given the privilege to host the orientation program. The program began with the invocation song by seeking the blessings of the almighty which was sung by the college music team, Ninada. The occasion was graced by the inaugural dance performed by the dance team of the college.
The program commenced with the welcome speech by Principal, Dr. Suma V Rao where she welcomed the students to the family of Jain College, introduced the students to the heads and teachers of various departments. She introduced to the traditions, norms of the college, various forums and the conveners of the forums for the overall growth of the students. Later the Director of Jain PU Programs, Dr. B.T Venkatesh addressed the gathering and inspired students to be model students and citizens. Mr. Prasanna Kumar, HOD of Commerce explained the general rules and regulations of the college that has strictly followed by the students.
The forums were introduced to the students and various opportunities provided by these forums to showcase their talents. The cultural forum, Aykya also took the initiative to introduce various platforms provided for the students to exhibit their talents.
