Let us assume digits be x and 2x.

So the numbers are: 10+2x and 20x+x.

Difference 27, hence : 27 + 10x+ 2x = 20x+x

Giving us 27 = (21–12)x => 27 = 9x = > 3

Therefore numbers are 36 and 63.
