Direct current is a current which doesn't change its voltage which means it is a direct current which comes from the cells all the battery it doesn't change its voltage and hence it is called direct current the current is present in cell or battery.

It isn't used in our homes as it can carry high voltage or low which can results in damaging our electronic appliances.

Hi Punitpatel1 ,
Here's your answer...

The direct current is the current which changes its direction in an electric circuit. Conversely, its direction does not change over time. The frequency of the alternating current used in homes in India is 50Hrs, which means it changes its direction for fifty times in a second...

Hope it helps
