brine solution is a solution which is formed by electrolysis of sodium chloride with water.
where is reaction that show the reaction of molten sodium chloride with water.
Nacl ( aq) + H20 ( l ) ====> NaOH + H2 + Cl2
there is formation of sodium hydroxide that is brine solution and also formation of hydrogen and chlorine gas.
the solution of sodium hydroxide is also known as " Lye "
it is also known as chor alkali process because there is formation of sodium hydroxide which is alkali in nature
there is also formation of by product that is chlorine and hydrogen gas
hope it's help !!
thanks !!!
