2. No new substance is formed.

3. It is reversible change.

4. It is temperary change.

5. The properties of substance are retain.

The change in which the appearance and physical properties of the substance is changed but their is no change in their chemical composition is called physical change.

• It is also known as temperoary change.

• Physical change can be reversed hence, It is also known as reversible change.

In physical change only physical properties like appearance, state , colours, solubility etc will be change.

While actual chemical composition remains constant.

Ex :- Heating of water , melting of wax , Dissolving of sugar.

Chemical change :-

The change in which the chemical composition of substance gets changed is known as chemical change.

• It is permanent change.

• It is irreversible in nature.

In chemical change the chemical properties of substance like reactivity , combustiblity, etc will be change.
