. In this context ,kalam narrates his memorable experience with his mother and family in the matter of eating food.

. EXPLANATION

. One day during the World war 2 , kalamś mother had made chapatti instead or rice as food was rationed.

. Kalam sat at his place on the floor and could eat as many as he could without thinking of otherś needs.

. Later that night , his elder brother took him aside and scolded him for eating more chapattis unnoticingly.

. He softined kalam saying that their mother would go hungry that night due to nothing left her to eat .

. That moment of shame broke kalamś heart After that , Kalam never repeated such a mistake.
