what about a rubber band, can it change its shape? is it solid?

Solids are rigid that means solids have tendency to maintain their shape when outside force is applied. Solids may break under force but it is very difficult to change their shape.

For Eample : A rubber band changes its shape when a force is applied to it but it also comes back to its solutional shape, when the applied force is removed. But if excessive force is applied then it breaks down.
