If Marathas had won the battle of Panipat, India would have been a powerful and prosperous country. Marathas would have established their supremacy in North as well as West India. The British would also not think of making India their colony. They would have allowed the East India Company to do trading only. The British would not have been able to exploit it as well. If Marathas had won the battle, India would have been a super-power by now.
