what advice would you give to your friend who has bee n suffering from domestic violence?

Well in all reality it is up to them how they approach the problem and you have to keep in mind they might not accept or utilize your advice. Another thing that factors in the problem is who is being abused, is it your friend or a family member close to them? Depending on the situation different advice can be given, however I strongly advise that they alert the authorities and receive help from a therapist.
