molarity=0.5M
so we have to add 0.5 moles of mgso4 in 1 litre of water to make a 0.5 M solution..
so M=(given mass/molar mass)*volume of soil/1000
0.5= m/120*1
m=120*0.5
m=60g
you need 60g of mgso4...
