What amount of work is done in raising a body of mass 12kg throughh a height of 40cm ? (g=10m/s 2)

Here, m=12kg=12000g,

g=10m/s

h=40cm=0.4m

Work is done here is by virtue of height so

W=P.E.=mgh=12000*10*0.4 = 48 KJ.
