Those traits that are acquired during the lifetime of an organism are known as acquired traits. As their is no change in the DNA constitution of the organism these traits are not passed from one generation to the other.
And those traits that are inherited in an organism are inherited traits. As these traits are possessed due to the changes in the DNA constitution they will be passed form one generatikn to the other and so on.
