It is an applied science which deals with the production of plants which us useful for humans.

Now , agriculture is a very important and should be on large area because of the increasing population of people and to fulfil their need , the agriculture should be on large area.

Crop:-

When the plants of same kind grown at a place on a large scale is basically termed as crop.

for example- rice , wheat , maize , cotton , jute , rubber , sugarcane , groundnut.

Agricultural Practises:-

The practices which are done by the farmer in a particular period of time.

There are 7 agricultural practices:-

● Preparation of soil

● sowing of seeds.

● adding manures and fertilizers

● irrigation

● crop protection ( weeding )

● Harvesting

● storage.
