☆Agriculture:-
It is an applied science which deals with the production of plants which us useful for humans.
Now , agriculture is a very important and should be on large area because of the increasing population of people and to fulfil their need , the agriculture should be on large area.
☆Crop:-
When the plants of same kind grown at a place on a large scale is basically termed as crop.
for example- rice , wheat , maize , cotton , jute , rubber , sugarcane , groundnut.
☆Agricultural Practises:-
The practices which are done by the farmer in a particular period of time.
There are 7 agricultural practices:-
● Preparation of soil
● sowing of seeds.
● adding manures and fertilizers
● irrigation
● crop protection ( weeding )
● Harvesting
● storage.
The three major elements are nitrogen, phosphorus, and potash known as NPK. There is a certain proportion in which these elements are required by the plants. The fertilizers currently used are urea, di- ammonium-phosphate, mutate of potash, ammonium sulphate, sodium nitrate etc.
